More than 120 anglers converged on the icy surface of Bigwood Lake last Sunday to take part in the 5th Annual Debbie Hill Memorial Ice Derby presented by the Sioux Lookout Anglers and Hunters (SLAH).

The Slate Falls Airways Otters took on the Cat Lake All-Stars in an on-ice battle for a good cause on March 17. The Otters defeated the All-Stars 12-11 with proceeds from admission donations going to support youth sporting initiatives in Cat Lake.
